A downloadable game

Hazelnut Bastille is a topdown, Zelda-like ARPG currently in development, which seeks to capture the essence of the 16bit era of games.  The demo offers players a vertical slice experience of simplified mechanics intended for the full game, and takes approximately 2-3 hours to complete. Controllers are highly recommended! We are currently offering the demo for Windows on Itch.io, although it can be found for Mac and Linux via the Newsletter on our landing page:( https://www.aloftstudio.com/hazelnutbastille )

Hazelnut Bastille Also launched its Kickstarter on October 23, 2018, and it can be found at:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1330693854/hazelnut-bastille-a-16bit-indie-...

The kickstarter will run until November 29, Noontime EST, and we hope to raise 65,000 USD!

it's a really great demo! Quite lengthy too. Can't wait to try the full version!

I loved it! It's beautifully made and a ton of fun so far. Definitely challenging without the controller, as you mentioned.

Thanks a lot!

Happy you enjoyed the video. We actually played the demo for this game two years ago, loved it back then and love it even more now.

Yeah I remember every video people post, hehe. There are only 30-40 or so atm. We would have had it out wayyyyy sooner, but the composer got busy for the year, and it got delayed like 8 months, so spent a bit of time working on some other stuff around it

It was worth the wait because the game is even better than it was the first time we played it and that was really well made back then. Can't wait for it to actually be a full game, hope your kickstatrer will be a success and that the game will be coming out sooner than later.
